Beezel (2024) is a movie streaming on Amazon Prime that had little to no fanfare but is an excellent movie. The company responsible for Terrorfier is behind this little gem and it shows. It spans four decades of people moving into a house where an ancient witch lays in wait to devor souls. She especailly loves to devor children.

The second decade shown is the 80’s, is a direct follow up to the murder of a mother and child. The husband wants to set the record straight by having a man named Apolo shoot a documentary in which he reveals he knows who killed his first family.

It starts kind of predictably with an african-american getting murdered in a horrible way. His greed made him stay and it cost him his head. Literally.

The next time jump shows the bedridden, second wife, to the man who was confessing he knew. She’s being used by the witch to murder all her caretakers.

I’m going to give this movie an 8 out of 10 just because it was quick, gross, and dirty. The kills were gory and this deserves a watch if you want a breezy horror movie where there isn’t a lot of social commentary and moves at a brisk pace. Good times, check it out.
