31 (2016) is one of my favorite Rob Zombie movies. I actually like this one better than House of a Thousand Corpes. It’s a non-stop drug, alcohol, and sex explosion of gore and crazy characters. Rob Zombie says it all.

Of course, this movie stars his wife, Sheri Moon Zombie as the main protagonist but she does a great job. I actually think this is her best performance. She’s solid and an ass kicker. She takes out a lot of the murderers that kill her fellow carnies.

It’s set during 1976 and feels like it. The movie feels scuzzy, just like most of Zombie’s films, but it works. The atmosphere is great and the kills are on point.

Richard Brake, who plays Doom-Head, a psychotic killer that paints his face like a clown really steals the show. He’s nasty and just perfect for this role. I’d love to see more of him in future movies.

I highly recommend this one and give it a 9 out of 10. This disgusting, evil, and fun film is nearly perfect just based on Doom-Head and Charity’s(Sheri Moon) performances. Give this a watch if you dare.
